Conley hit the floor hard late in Friday's win over Utah after a hard foul by Carlos Boozer that the Grizzlies thought should have been a flagrant foul.
A team spokesman said Conley was sore most of the day Saturday. Memphis listed him in the starting lineup, but Marcus Williams replaced him at tipoff.
Memphis did have backup Jamaal Tinsley available against the Bobcats. He rejoined the team after missing two games because of a death in his family.
