Wolves' Love returns to practice one day after knee injury

MINNEAPOLIS (AP) -- Minnesota Timberwolves forward Kevin Love was back at practice, one day after banging knees with Golden State's Corey Maggette (muh-GEHT'-ee).

Love had to be helped to the locker room in the fourth quarter of a 107-101 loss to the Warriors on Wednesday. But he returned to the game later and says he just expects to have a nasty bruise on his left knee and nothing more.

Love says he was limping a little at practice on Thursday. But he expects to be ready to play the Indiana Pacers on Friday at Target Center.

Coach Kurt Rambis says the collision caused no structural damage to Love's knee. Love had 23 points, 16 rebounds and six assists in the game.
