Heat's Beasley out with hyperextended knee

AUBURN HILLS, Mich. (AP) -- Miami Heat forward Michael Beasley missed Friday night's game against the Detroit Pistons with a hyperextended right knee.

Beasley had played in each of Miami's first 45 games and is second on the team in scoring and third in rebounding.

Detroit got Ben Gordon (groin) back after an eight-game absence.
