Clippers' Kaman sidelined with sprained ankle

MINNEAPOLIS (AP) -- Los Angeles Clippers center Chris Kaman missed the game against Minnesota on Friday night because of a sprained left ankle.

Kaman leads the Clippers with 20.2 points a game and is second on the team with 9.1 rebounds, but was not named a reserve on the Western Conference All-Star team this week. He has twice been named NBA player of the week this season, most recently earlier this month.

The team says Kaman is listed as day to day.

Second-year center DeAndre Jordan started in Kaman's place. Forward Marcus Camby was active despite being listed as questionable with bruised ribs. Point guard Baron Davis also played with a sore right knee.
