Portland waives Tolliver, sends Mills to Idaho

PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) -- The Portland Trail Blazers waived forward Anthony Tolliver on Tuesday and assigned second-round draft pick Patty Mills to the Idaho Stampede of the NBA Development League.

Tolliver played sparingly in two games for Portland following his Dec. 17 call-up from the Stampede.

The Trail Blazers chose Mills with the 55th pick in the draft. The point guard out of St. Mary's fractured a bone in his right foot during an NBA Summer League practice session July 9.

He underwent surgery four days later and recently completed rehabilitation.
