SALT LAKE CITY (AP) -- Utah Jazz center Mehmet Okur will begin active rehabilitation in two weeks after undergoing surgery Tuesday to repair his ruptured left Achilles' tendon.
Okur ruptured the tendon during the Jazz's loss at Denver on Saturday. The injury will force Okur to miss the remainder of the playoffs.
Okur just finished his eighth NBA season and sixth with the Jazz.
The Jazz play the Denver Nuggets in Game 3 of their first-round playoff series Friday in Salt Lake City. The series is tied 1-1.
