Lakers' Gasol forced out with strained hamstring

LOS ANGELES (AP) -- Forward Pau Gasol has left the Los Angeles Lakers' game against the Dallas Mavericks because of a strained left hamstring.

A team spokesman said Sunday night that Gasol would undergo an ultrasound test on Monday.

Gasol made all three of his field goal attempts for six points before leaving after seven minutes. He sat out the first 11 games this season with a strained right hamstring sustained in the preseason.

He missed just one regular season game last season.
